Helmsay – Delete your data

Fastest: in the app

1. Sign in and open Settings.
2. Under Account, tap Delete my account, enter your password and confirm.

This permanently deletes your account and everything stored under it, deletes this phone's push token and Firebase installation ID, then clears the app's local data. It cannot be undone. To keep your account but remove only this phone's registration and alert history, use Delete my device and data under Privacy.

If you can no longer use the app

Email benellison1988@gmail.com from the email address of the account with the subject "Delete my account" and your username. We will delete the account and reply when done, normally within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm you control the address.

What is deleted

• Your account: email, username, password hash, role and consent records.
• Your stored Cursor API key, if you connected one.
• Your projects and their webhook keys, and the alert history (project name, task id, status, messages, chosen replies).
• Your device registrations / Firebase push tokens and labels (and, in the app, the Firebase installation ID).
• Your usage records (run ids, times, agents and the token counts Cursor reported).
• All sign-in sessions and any pending email codes.

What we cannot delete immediately

• Data held by Cursor for your own Cursor account and agents. Manage that with Cursor.
• Operational server logs (including IP address) are deleted automatically after 30 days.
• Backups are overwritten within <BACKUP PERIOD - TODO>.
• Ideas submitted on the website are not linked to an account and are deleted automatically on their purge date; email us from the address you entered to have one removed sooner.
• Copies in third-party systems we do not control (for example an email you received).
