Helmsay is a Windows desktop app for building VRChat and VTuber avatars. Washington law governs this policy, the same way the Terms of Use describe it.

Subscriptions

Paid plans are sold by Paddle, the merchant of record, under Paddle's buyer terms. Canceling stops the next renewal. It does not by itself refund the current period. Helmsay does not store your card number.

Render-minute credits

Cloud render is sold as render-minute packs, not as a dollar balance. Credits do not expire.

• Credits never expire. Unused minutes stay on the account until you use them.
• A failed cloud job, or a job stopped by a server-side error, is refunded automatically and in full.
• Stopping a job refunds the minutes that were not used.
• If you live in the European Union, you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. That withdrawal covers unused credit only.
• Asking Helmsay to start a cloud render, or spending the credit, is your consent that the withdrawal right ends for the credit you use. Unused credit in that 14-day window can still be withdrawn.
